Silkie thread!

I love your little chick calendar . Rita seems to be having trouble keeping up with her wings.
Thank you! Rita is a Mille Fleur, I thought that they hold their wings really low like that. I have tried finding a guide for what the standard but haven't found it online yet. Here's a pic of her parents.

You are very kind Suzierd. I've always thought so. :hugs Here are update pic's of my grow out chicks. Ages nine through seven weeks. I'm crazy about them and want to test breed all of them. My adult chickens run together separate from the grow out silkies. Some white silkie chicks are in this flock. They all run with the LF HRIR. My grow out silkies are raised on the other half of my property. Ages nine to seven weeks here. The very young chicks keep away from the big kids by choice. One of my best nine week old Porcelain chicks. A pretty male. These two will maybe go in the Blue Partridge pen. So will this one. Nothing like a blue silkie bum. One of the seven week old paint chicks. A pretty male. They are all thriving on the lawn every day. Twenty eggs left in the incubator and then I'm done hatching for the season. The goal was to hatch 75 chicks this year. Nearly there.
So cute! Look at all those fuzzy butts! Nice to have all that room. I have lots of room to free range but to many predators. Beautiful birds! :love

The kids are growing up :)
