Silkie thread!

My 2 silkie babies, 10 days old with their adopted mother. She's a black orp, and she adores and protects them. I put them under her when they were 1 day old as she was broody and I have no roosters. Bought them from a breeder, i can't wait to see what they grow into.

My single comb white "cockerel" just crowed for the first time! 5 times in a row!!! i thought he was a he from the very beginning.

She will always be your baby. Can't tell by the pic is it the white one all the way to the right or the darker one?

I am sure it was the white one Your right they will always be my babies.. I have a turkey which is 2 days younger weighs over 15 pounds They all hatched 9/2014

I just got back from a month overseas and my babies have grown up a lot! I only have the 2 hens left, no more roo Here are some pictures, they are now just over 3 months old. My white girl was feeling very photogenic today haha

i just noticed that my single comb roo has three rows like a pea comb only its a single comb with nice points in the middle and on either side are smaller points they are pretty uniform, modified single comb right?

That is awesome. I can't wait til my little girl starts laying. She is my avatar. She is about 4 months old now.
