Silkie thread!

Question. Does anyone else have silkie chicks that twitch their head if you touch them? Mine does. Just wondering if it's something to be concerned about. 

I love it when mine do that. So cute! My hens still do it when I pet their top knot.

It's impossible not to fall in love with them imo. I answered my door when my brother stopped by holding one and he was not of the same opinion. He had never seen a silkie and pronounced her the ugliest chicken he has ever seen.

My favorite of my silkies hatched another chick last night! It looks pure silkie. (It's so tiny compared to its two-day older sib!) Hopefully it will turn out like my other silkie chick in question of color.

I have just ordered 12 silkie eggs online, 3 white 3 black, 3 gold, and 3 cuckoo! They should arrive next Friday (they will be posted fresh on Wednesday of next week), as I have to wait till after my other hatch is over, I have never had silkies before, and I'm very excited about them, I know shipped eggs have a very bad hatch rate, but I'm hoping I'll have a good mix

He's crazy! I LOVE my silkies. They are my favorite! I regularly kid that they are my furry babies.

I agree! I told him its a good thing his wife won't let him have chickens because he CLEARLY has no taste!

Silver partridge would be my guess but I'm still learning about the different partridge coloring
