I havent been on here for awhile, but I had to share a couple of my favorite babies from this springs hatch. The pics don't do them justice, some of their crests are nearly as big as their tails, I see crest taping happening soon. [/URL]

Hi everyone. I have to say this thread makes me only want to buy silkies ever again!

I currently only have two silkie hens but one went broody on dud eggs and has subsequently adopted five chicks (two of which are silkies)!

What gorgeous birds. What color would you call the light non gray one? Third on down. I have one that color and I assume it is non standard color? Does it have a name? Champagne?
