Silkie thread!

We picked up our new chicks yesterday, what colors do you think these little darlings will end up being? Maude has curled toes which we are trying to straighten at the moment, she also has no leg feathering. I am really hoping for a blue and a partridge , but both hubby and I are confused on Mavis the black/yellow - cuckoo? any guesses you have would be great , Thanks !

Hey Guys, An Update On The Wry Neck Partridge Silkie Chick!! I gave her some terri vet in her water, and gave her some yogurt and about 5 days she was better i think it was just the beginning and i caught it in time <3 She is better and jumping and flapping around with her 9 other siblings she is about i think a month and a couple weeks now!!! Also i had 6 silkie eggs in the bator and today they have hatched two of them came from my first hens and i have a paint hen that started laying in jaunuary and i had a paint rooster and i have a buff rooster. They both mated her but i got rid of the paint roo two weeks after i collected these so i think he might be the father of the black one, when 2 of her 4 chicks hatched right now one came out white i dont think i see spots i will take pic when dry. and the other came out straight black with half black half white feet and feet feathers and on the tips of his wings and bottom area is white could i have a moltted???? will take picture when dry!!! or what other colors could he be????

Yes I was planning on trimming the feathers by their eyes. They are not outside yet because it's pretty cold in NY and I'm afraid it will be to much of a shock to their system. It's going to be nice this weekend so they will go out a little. Everything is still covered in snow so they may only get to enjoy fresh air and not dirt/mud. I don't know if they are male or female yet. If I trim around the eyes will it effect anyone's ability to sex them bases on crest?

Some of my chicks didn't have their feet turn black until they where a few week!! this is one of them her feet are black now tho!! when you can see them!!! shes extra puffy

Your lucky cause I had 4 hatch this year with pink and they stayed pink.
