Silkie thread!

Unless of course it is from another country or a project. Other countries (most of Europe, Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand, etc.) DO have large fowl silkies.

Oh my goodness...I should've known not to reply to that post. Haha!! I had no idea.

I can't wait until I have a SQ largefowl brahma-sized (as in HUMUNGOUS) extra fluffy silkie to cuddle.

Do you think it might be spraddle leg? If you do a search on here you can find alot of info on it and how to treat it.

i really do not think it is spraddle leg i have tryied tapping it and it just sits there and does not try to stand up is there any thing else i can try here is a picture of him or her it is his left leg it does not completely stick straight out but it does sick out some and he acts like it can not bend its leg straight it also does not have a good chirp and on the leg it has a little dry blood and a little sharp edge on its knee/joint of the leg will post pictures of all the others later once they are all fully dryed took him or her out just to take a picture to figure out exactly what is wrong with it

Hi everybody! I could use some help. I posted a thread in the breed and gender section already but am not getting very much feedback. I have someone who is interested in buying my silkies. She can't have a rooster. So while I can't guarantee her that my two 4 month olds are pullets, I thought we'd try and get a poll. I'm just asking for your best educated guess. Then she can decide if she's willing to risk it. I'd really appreciate it. She has a lonely bantam hen and has been looking for company for her.
