I'm not surprised that you have a history of writing. You are obviously very talented in that area.

Yes you sure do !!!

I think you should start a new thread Titled "Genetics 101" or "Chicken Colors for Dummies" " Genetics for Dummies" You get my drift.
There are alot of us that need help, from the ground up !!!

It seems to start out simple then once I fall off well, I'm lost, It sure would help if my memory were better and I could just remember what I read !!! Seems like I take one step forward and two backwards trying to learn this stuff !!!

Please please please, start a Dummies Genetic thread for all of us Bird Brains

Maybe even one for each color !!!

Easy to understand, yes; Major in silkies, no. But silkies are chickens just as are all other chicken breeds. There is no difference in the genetics of silkies versus those of other breeds. Each breed has its own specific gene set required for the breed, but there are no differences in how they work.
