Thanks! Honestly, I hate selling the eggs and wish I could hatch them all...but I'm really trying to stop hatching until spring. So, I have some eggs up for auction now and I guess I will continue to do that for a while. BUT, I am hatching 6 chicks right now for someone locally and I couldn't help but to throw an extra 10 or so under a broody. I know...I CAN'T HELP IT!

No I have one that sits with the broodies on eggs. He has fertiled them before, but now has decided to sit around with them talking about Crest do's & fashion. His name was Wattles because you can see his even though he is bearded, but I have since renamed him Chaz!!!!

Help, my silkies have stopped laying... Is this normal for this time of year?! They are only 7 months old so I know they won't be molting til next year... I recently inherited 2 EE's & 3 black australorps & they laid for a while after we got them but then all of a sudden they just stopped... anyone know what could cause this?

Here are the latest pics in my Silkie Age Progression album. I had two white Silkies chicks hatch on September 17 and am taking pictures of them every week. I want to see how the genders of these two turn out and if there were any clues when they were younger. I am going to go out on a limb and guess that the one with the yellow zip tie is a female and the other one is male.
