I am looking for some silkie eggs.

Try the Buy ~ Sell ~ Trade section of the forum. Usually you can find a whole bunch of eggs there as well as live birds.

So excited! I thought I was going to have to toss out a ton of our eggs, but I just candled them again and all but 4 had viens!!!

I know that some may not hatch but at least I have more than I thought.

Well Well Well... my silkie got all wet in the rain...So I brought it in for a blow dry and a place to warm up....Well this was all good til it started missin its best friend in the coop...sooooooo I had to bring the blonde EE into the house also. Now we having a dry warm camp in tonight.LOL
Peeps still say it's a boy some say it s girl HELP it needs a name....HELP

Yeah.. I live and work on a large non-profit rescue farm. That's why we have staff.

We even run a riding school here. Horses are my main job. Chickens for fun.

I don't have any cockerels left. Finally found all of them homes. An old roommate of mine has two of this guys sons, both grey. They must be two years old by now. But they have huge, ugly combs.

If I remember right, one of them has too many toes. One looks like my rooster (a little darker), the other is mostly black with the grey hackles and all.


I meant to write 18% crumble. I don't know how I came up with 16%.

I think I better call some local feed stores and see if I can find a store somewhere that sells these things. The store down the road doesn't seem to have much of a selection.

I don't remember if they sell Blue Seal products...? I know they sell the harvest delight treat bags because I just bought one of them last week.

Peepblessed, My little girl that had wry neck is doing great. She is acting like a normal chicken and can look up now. 5 days of electrolyte and vit E worked. Thanks
