Anyone know how catdance marks her eggs?



Trying to help a friend figure out what eggs are what.

I'm living vicariously through her, as I'll never be able to hatch Catdance eggs Boo lol

PA is Paint. B/S 2 is blue/splash pen 2. L2 lavender pen 2. Por Porcelain. Bu buff. I couldn't read most of them.

haha yeah, i'm still not 100% on my hen. she's a year old and still has never layed an egg. Never crowed though either. But my rooster doesn't like her. He ignores her, doesn't try to mate, walks all over her, and they used to get into little scuffles. But he adores my blue pullet.

That's a long wait!!

My silkie eggs are adding up! Ever since the day they started laying, I've gotten one or more a day. I think I'll collect about 10ish and do a test hatch to see how fertile they are. These are big, hefty eggs (for silkies. poor little girls) so I don't think I'll have too much of a problem with small chicks like a lot of pullet hatches. The thing is, my brooding machines, my OEGB, are off for the winter, so I'll have to fire up the old incubator. I rarely use it because my little hens are usually so willing

Catdance eggs are in the mail! Still not sure if I'm going to sell this girl after the hatch...she's my favorite

She's my first tame chicken. My fiance's egg layers are very skittish.

POR = porcelain
L = lavender
W = white
BU = buff
P = partridge
PA = paint
B/S = blue/splash
The number 2 means pen 2, I think. So if you have W and W2, you have two white eggs from two different white breeding pens.
BLK I think was black if you have any.

I wish I got all those porcelain and lavender eggs with my order.

I had one porcelain which turned out to be infertile. Two lavender; one infertile and the other never hatched.

Some day I'll have one of each color!
