Not sure exactly, he could be from anywhere. I got him at a swap from an aquaintance. She was going to bulk order more though, that is why she couldn't keep him, he was related to all the ones she had.

I'm hoping to get a silkie fairly soon, and I was just wonder, are there ANY cons to having a silkie?

The bigges con to having a silkie is that you'll be addicted in no time and you'll have plenty more!!

Step 1: When a hen walks up, don't directly look at her. Pose and have a mysterious far off look; allow her to admire your glory. Emphasize your manly chest*.



Step 2: When she's had enough time, look seductively over your shoulder at her, again emphasizing your manly chest*. This is especially effective with a group of hens, as they swoon and titter over who you looked at.



Step 3: Now make your move towards them. As you walk, flex obviously, showing off your manly chest*, strong wings, and thick, soft feathers. But mostly your manly chest*. No hen can resist you now!



Step 4: Enjoy the attention of all the ladies and watch as the heads turn!
