What kind of a mix is that smooth feathered bird behind this rooster? Silkie x Cochin maybe?
No actually her mom was a penciled Wyandotte mix with silkie and I mixed her back to a silkie and I got her and her brother.

yes breeding smooth sizzles to frizzled sizzles created more pure sizzles. They will be smooth, frizzled, silkied, or frizzled silkiedI hatched some Sizzles and most of them are smooth feathered so I am curious what they will look like. I sold two of the chicks but I have more to grow out. I was disappointed that they don't have the frizzle Sizzle feathers but it looks like they will be striking with smooth feathers. I wonder if I could breed smooth feathered Sizzles to frizzle feathered Sizzles and get more Sizzles that way instead of breeding Silkie to Cochin. I only have one frizzle Cochin hen unless I get more with my next hatch of Cochin eggs I purchased to try to get frizzle Cochins.
