Silkie thread!

I got the silkie eggs from fowlrus, here on BYC. Excited to have more colored fluff balls out back.

I think 8-9 of my BWA are looking good. Hope they all hatch! Please please please. I should order more eggs from her and get another batch from someone unrelated to have a good breeding stock.

If you are lucky, the two BWA eggs I gave you will hatch out a nice rooster to use with the other line

What color Silkies are you incubating?

Here are the babies. There are 5 total. One is still trying to figure out how his legs work, so he is hanging out under momma.

these are all so beautiful! thanks for sharing! I especaily LOVE the last pic! such a good calendar photo! have you considered creating a calander with all her photos? how old is she?? VERY talented! tell her great work! just went to look at her FB page and it said it could've been removed...is it on a different link?

just to throw in a few pics ive taken in the past....hers are by far much more 'artsy' she has a nice eye for photography!

Yes she loves to take pics. She is 17 and musically minded. She also seems to have hijacked my profile.

We have an 11 day old chick that had a black silkie dad and either a white or black silkie momma...but this little guy seems to be getting regular feathers!! Is this possible?!?
