She is still getting use to it. It'll take her a while. But she uses her wings a lot. Gets to food bowl alright.

How did she loose her legs? 

Had them taken off. She had bad crooked legs and they got worse as they got older. To the point walking was hard

Oh, poor girl. Hopefully she will have a better life without them.

2 of the three chicks. The third is under mom. She is a spash and her legs are kinda wild she has to figure out how to get them under her and not out front. Poly vi sol and hobbles will hopefully help her get it figured out.

What do you use to cushion her stumps as it must be sensitive when she moves around? Such a precious love.

Recent pics of the kids. It has been a few weeks since i last posted. They are around 14 weeks now. I have only lost one bird. Not sure what happened. It was our light partridge. .
