Silkie thread!

In the absence of somebody playing ' silly buggers ' with a pair of over sized pinking shears, I would be more inclined to look for Depluming mites.

I have a friend who is interested in finding a show quality pair of Silkies. He prefers white, but will consider other colors. Quality is the most important thing to him. We are in Michigan. Can anyone recommend a good breeder within the Midwest or who has a great reputation of quality birds and who ships?

Thanks so much!

You could have your friend contact @birdman55 https://www.backyardchickens.com/u/299311/birdman55
He's in Michigan. Not sure if he has white & not sure if he ships, but maybe he is close enough. I wish he was closer to me cause I'd love to have some of his birds!

I contacted Birdman55. He doesn't have any Silkies. I wonder who else it might be. He said maybe a mindylee? Could that be the person?

Another update on the black pullet with the brain injury.  She is completely eating on her own and although she isn't walking yet she is getting around very carefully without flapping her wings now. Thanks to all of you that have been helping me help her.

I'm happy to hear it i hope she continues to get better!
