Silkie thread!

My Fall hatched babies enjoying a game of King of the Squash. The White chicks are from Geri Godina shipped eggs, The Buffs are from Bobbi Porto hatching eggs, The rest are from my Porcelain project program. I gave them a kabocha squash from the garden, pulled up a stool and enjoyed the show. Some chickie babies would rather play than eat their veggies. Hah!

Hello all, I just took in my first Silkie a week ago, and I'm amazed at how quickly she settled in to her new surroundings, and allowed her personality to emerge. I dubbed her Agnes, and by the end of day two, this little sassy streak showed itself, and before I knew it she's following me everywhere, and is asking to sit on laps, or trying to sit on my shoulder. She sounds like a little cricket when she purrs, though now and then a honk comes out, as she's four months old. Responds to sound more than sight, though yes, she can see. I trimmed the feathers around her eyes to improve her sight, as I like her to see what's going on, and I can see that sweet face better. I tap my foot and she comes running over. Those fluffy feet are the best. Below are some photos, just curious, is she a particular variety or colour beyond just grey? Thank you and enjoy :)

Your Silkies are beautiful. Can you give them a pumpkin?
Neat how they pick on the squash. Aria
