This is one of our 3 silkie's hanging out with his best bud. These two are inseparable. They absolutely adore each other.

If i grab her....., this particular Silkie has to go along with her or she will freak the heck out. Lol

I know I stated I would post this a few days ago..But I got pulled into working 6 night shifts.

Another quick question. My silkies were purchased from TSC. I know they are not of show quality, But will they lose the yellowish hue and become a brighter, cleaner looking white when they get older?

I Thoth silkies do like getting a bath once they are used to it I mean I know they probably are going to be a bit jumpy at first she is a pretty girl

I don't normally bath them, she had a mucky bottom and I was just making sure that it wasn't the onset of gleet. People often ask me how my whites stay so white, lots of preening I say.
She is also a very ' chillaxed ' bird. I've handled her heaps when she is fostering chicks.

Yes, white chicks are usually hatched yellow or smutty grey .
