Well that's fantasticLuckily I don't plan on hatching chicks. Plus he has a bunch of incorrect traits. His comb is a single straight one and he has 9 toes instead of 10 and I guess he also has split wing.![]()
Sorry , probably not what you want hear, but I wouldn't be buying or setting eggs from his line.
The good news is split wing is not a health issue. It is not a desirable trait for breeding like incorrect number of toes but won't affect his health in any way I can think of. That why I get more upset about people breeding health issues that I do about cosmetic stuff like this. He won't win any shows but he'll be a nice pet.
Opinions please. We ordered a variety package of Silkie hatching eggs. Is this one showing barring?

Looks to be a blue splash... barring would show on the wing feathers and be easy to see there...
