Silkie thread!

Unfortunately this is a genetic trait that you don't want to duplicate, in other words , not one for breeding. It's thought to be a result of inbreeding too closely.

Well that's fantastic

Luckily I don't plan on hatching chicks. Plus he has a bunch of incorrect traits. His comb is a single straight one and he has 9 toes instead of 10 and I guess he also has split wing.

The good news is split wing is not a health issue. It is not a desirable trait for breeding like incorrect number of toes but won't affect his health in any way I can think of. That why I get more upset about people breeding health issues that I do about cosmetic stuff like this. He won't win any shows but he'll be a nice pet.

Yeah. I hope he'll become a little tamer though because even though I do handle him and I'm gentle and everything he throws a fit when I pick him up.

I doesn't look barred to me either. It certainly could be a darker splash. Or maybe the off chance of mottled? You can look up pictures of both, Although mottled is pretty rare and dark splash is probably more likely She's cute- I like her. Where did you get her? You could ask the seller if she has anything else like this.
