Okay, that's what I think, too. I just wanted a second opinion. I was also a little confused what color she would turn out because of how her feathers came in when she was a baby. I'll have to post a pic so you can see. But now I think she is buff with just some dark feathers (smut, I think they call it?) in her tail and wings. They were black and gold colored and that's what's still in her wings and tail. It almost looks like a barring pattern. But I know you can end up with not pure colors from hatcheries.

Those wings look very much like partridge patterning. Once in while you can get a very light partridge that looks buff at a glance. The "smutty" marking on some buffs are usually just a few black feathers in tail and maybe wings not a real pattern.

That is definitely a possibility. She also has some really light barring pattern on her back leading up to her tail of the black and gold. It's really faint and you can only really see it well in the sun.
