Silkie thread!

I was told this buff may be show quality - either way I don't care I love her just the same but here is a pic of her in her sweater we just got her today!

Her type is halfway decent, however her color is pretty poor. She has quite a lot of black leakage in her wings and tail, whereas a good quality Buff should be a pure blonde color over the entire bird. Her crest is not so large or round as it should be. She should have more of a cushion (though I can't tell if the sweater may be obstructing the "fluffiness" of that part of the bird). Overall, she might not do badly at a small local show or county fair, probably wouldn't be worth entering her in any serious competition though.

In any case, very cute and bird and cute sweater!

Yeah the black on the wings is what I thought was not too good at all. I prob wouldn't show her anyway as I'm not really into that, but like you said maybe some local thing if it came up or whatever might be fun. I added another pic cause she really did need a bath... lol and without the sweater which was just for fun.

That's murder you see in his eye. We had an argument about him wearing the hat. It's clipped to his crest. He gets paid for his modeling work in scratch.
