Somebody saw a pic of my Showgirl and thought it was a roo based on the shape of its beak. They said shorter, hooked beaks mean roos. Has anyone heard of this before? Here's a profile pic:

I have also seen this beak sexing floating around FB. I checked it against my flock and it didn’t hold true my crowing cockerel and laying pullet have the exact same beak shape. I have decided for me it’s not worth the anguish to sex these buggers, I will just wait till they crow or lay. I’m way too attached by the time it’s figured out anyway so nobody is going anywhere. If I ever get some eggs to hatch I am going to try the comb shape on the chicks just to see. Someone shared it and I believe it was taught to her by Judy Lee.Somebody saw a pic of my Showgirl and thought it was a roo based on the shape of its beak. They said shorter, hooked beaks mean roos.
