Was wondering what yall think about my new blue rooster!

He looks black to me.

He's blue, trust me on that one. Even though he has the green sheen in his feathers he produces all blue chicks. Which according to genetics shouldn't be true. You can't see it but his feet have quite a few blue feathers and his under fluff is light.

How do I know this, that's my pic of the boy before he went to live with his new owner and I have a bunch of his blue chicks.

That's what I was thinking. The only 100% blue results come from Black x Splash breedings. What color are the hens you are breeding him to?
