HI i have to share this news as I am so proud of my son and his homebred Buff pullet...he won BB/Jr Champion Featherleg/Jr Bantam Champion and then Reserve Jr Super Grand Champion with her ..show diva.....and my friend Pennie Urban won BB and the Reserve Featherleg in the open show with a homebred partridge pullet....its not very often colored birds win over whites and the only bird that beat my sons buff was a goose...his trophies are huge it was just an amazing show for us as we never dreamed we would breed a silkie of this calibre

I love my turkens as much as my silkies and can handle them just like my silkies. Not to mention their chicks are the cutest little things!
I know they aren't the prettiest but they are really laid back until they know you have meal worms then they go nuts and jump up at me. LOL
