One of mine is smaller then the other 2 but I can't tell with the comb as they all look the same... maybe 3 roosters or maybe 3 hens or maybe a mix...?

Thank you for the info on hatching. I have hatched 4 eggs before that were shipped to me, so I have tried that before, although staggered hatches is a new and scary idea. I'm not sure how that would work at lockdown, but that's worth researching more I think, so I'll check into it.
I do have some other paints, but they are young yet, and no one is laying. I am really looking forward to working with them.
Here are some pictures of my new silkie trio and their two chicks I have: (the silkie in the back in the first picture wasn't part of the new trio)
They sure have cute babies!

I'M DEVASTATED!!!! My blue silkie pullet drowned sometime last night amongst all the storms here in south FL...

I guess with all the scrambling around last night to get them inside the barn she must have gotten out & tried to follow me up to the house. I found her this morning our dogs water basin... I am devastated & I can't find the words to tell my precious son about his favorite pullet...

Oh my gosh! That would've been horrible! I must say I was very disappointed I couldn't try to hatch my very first laid egg, but I felt better when there was another one the next day.
