12 Blue and Splash Silkie eggs loaded into the incubator today. Hopefully, Ella will have Silkie friends in a few weeks !!!!

yes it's from the PBS 'History of the Chicken'...I thought it was amazing how they 'reacted it'...very cool story

OMG!!!! I got my first silkie egg/s today...I found 2 in the coop when I was cleaning it today...she must have laid one yesterday as well...

if only my blue boy will leave her alone!

She kicked his butt today after she had enough and was trying to eat some grass...

A good size for her very first eggs? yes?
