My two new silkie baby they are 3 weeks old today.

Well it's a sad day   Hachi was just killed by a hawk. I have never had a hawk problem here, but I just looked out the window to see what I thought was toulouse taking a bath in the leaves and then noticed it didn't have lacing on the feathers  . Just buried her. She was my most beautiful girl too...

My one and Only silkie...I do feel there will be more!!!! I don't get to handle it often,(winter time change I work 7-5) and was shocked at how docile and easily it followed me or my dogs around the house. It was just so calm and cool about everything...I feel like i've missed out in the chicken world by not having one.
