I just wormed my standard size chickens with Neobicide (main ingredient Dyhydroivemectin).
It says on the bottle that the dosage is 1/8cc under skin in back of neck.
Do you think the dosage would be the same for my silkies?

Yep.

Where did you get the dosing info for the LF? Normally the dose is half the LF dose for bantams.

I need to do some digging on this one, never heard of it before but it might be a good one for switching around.

Most of the time Ivermectin is safe to OD but not knowing what the other components are might make it no longer true.

The chemical as typed is not found on the internet. Either there is a typo or something funny is going on with the bottle ingredients. Could you check the spelling?

The problem with saying the dase is 1/2 for bantams, is that you may have a 12 lb large fowl or a 5 lb one, and you may have a 1.25 lb bantam or a 2.5 lb one. Best bet is to call the company and ask. Or you may be able to find dosing information online on the manufacturer's or a pharmaceudical website.

thanks. I checked the spelling is correct (lol a first for me!) when I google it I come up with several sites that sell it, just no info beyond that it is a systemic(sp?) that kills all blood sucking paresites (internal and external) but not tape worm as it is not blood sucking. . . . I wonder is gape worm blood sucking?
anyway, I just noticed and 800 number on the bottle and will call in the AM.

I got Neobicide to come up just fine. But Dyhydroivemectin kept coming back with nothing. I need to check google, see if its Bing that is coming up empty.
