Silkie x D’Uccle toes

This lil bean hatched and is blue silkie roo over blue/black/white silkies, Mille Fleur D’Uccle, bantam Light Brahma, and barred somethings lol. We’re still fluffing up, but it doesn’t have 5 toes. Would it automatically be a mix for guesses? Definitely fibromelanistic, but a few lighter toenails

It a massive mix. Just because silkie is in there doesn’t mean they will have 5 toes. I have silkie crosses and less then half come out with 5 toes.

It’s just silkie crossed with one breed! I have a bantam pen and all are pure, so the eggs are the only mixed (maybe, I have several silkies I know are laying). Of the three eggs I assumed were from the same hen, one has 5 toes and the other 4 toes. The last egg still needs to hatch

If they are not both pure silkie then it’s normal not to have all hatchlings with 5 toes. If they are both supposed to be pure silkie and you get 4 toes, then someone isn’t pure down the line and you have a throwback.

I’m hoping to have some sex links from this roo, but they won’t be pure silkie. Either over a barred bantam or someone was mentioning by skin colour when he’s mixed with a different breed I had? I can’t remember Guess I’ll have to do a lot of hatching this summer to experiment lol
