Yeah you're probably right. However, i have a silkie/EE mix. The father a white silkie roo, the mama a brown EE with the cutest cheeks eva. Their chick (now a grown hen) is the mama's color and shape and personality, with the rooster's feet and comb.

Sounds soooo cute! Ya, its suprising sometimes what they look like. Owl looks like an iowa blue, and her mama was a black arucana and her dad was a............... barred rock, I think? I don't remember.

It wouldn't let me make the pic bigger She is lovely, but she has a big attitude I love her so much. One time I was eating outside where the chickens were, and I was feeding them some fruit. Owl snuck up behind me, jumped onto my lap, and started running away with my meatball!
