Day 3 of incubation and I want them to hurry up and hatch already. I wonder if the broody at the farm is still sitting. I'll get a pic when I get back out there if she is.

My favorite part of incubating is candling at day seven and you can watch them move all around in the egg. Of course I love hatching too.

Yes I love the candling too. By I think I like day 14 candling better.

Good Morning ! Chickadee please post pics. It's too cute not to.

I SAW THEM!! 5 SO FAR AND I HAVE FOUR NAMED! I'll post pics very soon once I get them on the computer. I need help naming the last one. There's Autumn, Skye, River, and Ripple. Autumn is mainly black, but has brown on her face. Skye is a whiter yellow chick with two black spots on her forehead. River is a deeper buff with no spots. Ripple is black with a white speckled back. Unnamed chick has some speckles on her head, and is buff. I'M SOOO HAPPY! More on the way!!
