Yes, they are better layers than orps but otherwise, they act a lot like them.

Oooh I love Australorps!!!! I've been researching them ever since I got my first chicks. They are just like buff orps.

They were orpingtons before they were Australorps.

You will probably have the same problem. The astralorps we had were all bottom of the pecking order and almost killed by the other hens.
