I know this is a silly question, but what are moderators? I made a forum and I'm guessing I need to know exactly what moderators do if I want to make anyone a moderator. I think they help the admin manage the forum?

On BYC the mods help the admin and they make sure the forums are "clean", make and judge contests, deal with "flagged posts" etc.

I'm trying to make a picture of a mermaid on my computer and it looks awful. I'm no expert with drawing, but on the computer it looks like a train wreck
It's for a role play I'm going to make, on the first page I like to post a picture with the name of the role play on it, but now I can't use google images due to the new rules.
I hope I can make it look a little better
