MP, you should get them. but I don't recommend getting them at like a mall or Claire's, cause they use a gun to pierce and it really just tears the ear. The first two times I did it was at Claire's but they got infected, so I finally got them done somewhere they don't use the gun. But I'm still having trouble.

The first two times I did it was at Claire's but they got infected, so I finally got them done somewhere they don't use the gun. But I'm still having trouble.

I got mine done when I was sixteen or so at our local Claire's and I will say I was terrified of the gun but it worked really well except the woman who did them was obviously not experienced at it and they're a bit crooked not to mention she did overtighten one of the backs and my Mom had to try to loosen it up as it was very painful. The earring popped out and Mom had to repierce it by hand in our bathroom. It was incredibly painful. I much preferred the gun. Lol since then my ears have continuously caused me trouble. And they get infected/enflamed any time I wear earrings that are not gold. I believe sterling is also okay for them. Also if I leave earrings out for more than a couple days my ears start to close again. It's odd and I hate it a bit but I love earrings so I try to weigh the pros and cons. Some people from what I've read their ears just reject earrings
