What a nice thread! Hi! I am fairly new to this site, and am currently obsessed by silkies! I feel like I'm in AA for chicken addiction.....My avatar is named after my sweet boy Caleb who has Autism, and is non verbal. We are getting back into chickens after a hiatus from a rough move, and hoping to get him more involved to work with his empathy and social skills, among other things. Some things about me:

- I love God

-I love my husband and son

- I love goats, chickens, ducks, geese, and anything with wings and feathers.

- I enjoy cross stitch, embroidery, reading Christian fiction, herb gardening, and being with the fam!

And that's me in a nutshell. Sometimes minus the shell!

Hi there! Update ! I have my official order in for 22 Silkie chicks ! And; I could not resist- she has Partridge Showgirls, so ordered 3 of those too! (Insert excited, manic giggle...) So got 3 whites, 3 blue, 3 black, 2 buff, 2 splash, 3 partridge, and 3 red also. I am accounting for extra roo's therefore the extras. That's what I keep telling myself. .....the only math I believe that I will be truly competent with- CHICKEN MATH!!
