Pretty sure he was, he was getting in trouble for not following decorum
Well, next time he shouldn't be so naughty

He could learn a thing or two from me.

Oh I also forgot to wish you a happy winter solstice! I'm just glad the days will start getting longer again. Get tired of sunset at 430.
Thanks, we've been feasting and gift giving all week, I've almost doubled in size

Have a good Christmas.

in winter the sun sets around 5:30
It sets at about 4:30 here, and rises at 8:30. That's only eight hours of daylight! And our power keeps cutting out at random intervals because of the storms we've been having. No snow to be seen, only sprays of seafoam flying up the beach

It may snow, but it never settles, except in patches further inland. I think that's down to how windy it gets here. The good thing about this is that the skies here are often very clear. Just a few days ago I went outside at night and didn't even need to bring a torch with me. The moon was huge and bright, with a halo around it caused by the ice crystals in the clouds which were gently drifting over it, like a scene from a movie. I half expected Dracula to spring out from behind the shed. I lay on my back in the garden and the stars stretched out all around me, I would've stayed longer if It hadn't been so cold. All I could hear was the seals crying in the bay and the gentle crashing of waves. It was actually a pretty still night, so perhaps my theory on the wind has a few holes in it lol. We did get nice skies where I lived before, but more often it was overcast and foggy, and there was more light pollution.

That sounds so beautiful! *-* I wish I lived there. :lol:
All you get here is houses that block the sunset and pollution that hides the stars. ;-;

It is, a lot of the time, but the weather here can get really bad.
Sorry

If I had a good camera I could take some beautiful pictures to show you.

Yes! Very pretty! It got -30 C° last week here. And wind gusts of 60 miles an hour, that's almost 100 km per hour!
I'd be down to visit the coast of UK.
-30?? Are you sure? How are you still alive

West Coast is best coast.
