Silkies added to our family

OMG....they are so cute! If i can find a baby silkie 1-2 weeks old by the end of the week, DH will let me have it. I can only get one, so it HAS to be now because i have the baby bantams for it to be with. Seeing your makes me so hope i find one.

Carrie-That is so great of a name|!! I was thinking Cher and Frazier...hair!! But needed another name. Maybe not even Cher...not sure yet. Anyone have any more suggestions?
Lurky, I am amazed that these are so much older than the week old keets that they are cuddling! Even my four week old keet is in there with it's wings spread for the tiny ones to get under. They are so cute to see them all snuggled up together. I just can't get over it and the ages are so different. As you can tell...I am excited....

The first i thought of when i think wild hair is Kramer. But ozark, what are you saying, that i can mix em up and it does not matter the age? I think i would just like the age close and soon.......before DH changes his mind

oh...and rod stewart....ty pennington....sheeeesh does anyone comb their hair anymore?

I just found a local ad for baby silkies, I have to go to work soon, but left my work # for them to call me

They are 15 min from my work.

All I can tell you Lurky is that I have five week old silkies in with a four week old keet and six one week old keets and they all huddle together. Both the silkies and the four wk keet have the little ones under their wings and close to their bodies at night. I didn't think we could mix these ages up but now I am thinking, maybe if there aren't a bunch of aggressive older ones?? It is working here and that is all I have to go by. Please let us know if you get your silkies!!
O|h, you are right, no one combs their hair anymore! I like the name Ty. ha ha Rod would work too.
