My silkies are from the catdance and hatrick lines.They are all of good quailtiy and I am getting 3-5 eggs a day from my silkies.I do have 1 blue cockerel that I need to find a home for because of silver leakage that has shown up in his hackles that is in there.He is low in the pecking order and maturing slowly and hasnt been able to get a hen without getting beat up by the other roosters or by the hens.I am not completely sure that he hasnt bred any one though, the silver leakage I beleive is his only problem he is still young yet.All the chicks I have hatched have had 5 toes and no leakage.My colors are not seperated.i have blue, splash,black,buff,white,partridge,calico,paint and a rooster that is black with silver spread threwout his feather from splash/paint breeding.I am asking $1 per egg.
Four of my D'uccles are from a hatchery line but have no Dqs.The 4 are heavily feathered,so heavily feathered that I had to trim their feathers.3 of them have very nice full bull necks.The other has a much smaller one.I have not had problems with the missing toenail deffect.All of their middle toes are feathered.They are Mille fleur.I am thinking the 2 hens are sq and the other a bq.The rooster is Bq.I have 2 bq Mille fleurs as well from a local breeder and 2 self blues from the same breeder.My rooster dosent throw good roosters with the 3 hens i got him with though he makes the most beautiful and full females.The males from him just have a bit larger wattles than I wish them to have.I DO NOT KEEP ANY BIRDS WITH DQS.I have 2 of his daughters in with the father.I will avoid putting any of theirs in if you want,just ask if so.I also have 1 of his sons in as well.I am hoping to get some birds from Ron tallent so I have more colors.I have some mille fleur from his line of birds.I am asking $1.50 per egg.
