Silkies beak split!

This morning when I went out to feed my silkies I noticed this little girl has a split in her beak! I've never experienced this with our barred rocks and I am clueless as to what caused it overnight or how to fix it.

This is going to sound wacky but superglue or nail glue to keep it from going further. Just be very,very,very, careful and use as little as possible so it dries very fast for obvious reasons.

What color is this? My new Silkie bantam looks the exact same as her!

I honestly don't know what color she is! The breeder told me partridge splash when I sent her a picture and asked. She is mostly black with a gold ring of feathers around her neck. Very odd coloring!
