silkies from Ideal

I've asked this question in breeds and genetics from silkie people and i only got 1 response, so if you have ordered silkies from Ideal could you let me know if it went well? I'm thinking of getting a couple of silkies from the feed store that recieved theirs from Ideal and i'm not looking for show quality but i do want them to be bearded and look like silkies. I've seen pictures of silkies that look like a breeding disaster. Any way looking for feed back. thanks

you would be better off buying quality, it costs just as much to keep quality ones as it does for hatchery stock.

i ordered 4 assorted silkies, got 2 bearded and they have ALOT of foot feathering, MUCH more than the cochins and sultans i got from them

If you want something that actually looks like the breed then steer clear of hatchery stock and find a reputable breeder in your area.
