Hi all,
Here are some 2 day old Silkie pics for you guys who love Silkies and hopefully, you can get your chick fix here. The Ideal chicks are just a wee bit smaller than the MPC ones, and it is because the MPC ones are a day older. Not sure if a day could mean much difference, but I could certainly tell in the first 2 days. Now it is day 3, and they are growing almost at the same pace. They are doing extremely well.
A partridge and black.
A red
A buff and blue
The partridge chick has a black coloring on its head, like a halo. Such a pretty distinct coloring.
Cute little black silkie, their dome heads crack me up.
Exquisite blue silkie
A buff close up
My halo partridge
Some are feeding, some are sleeping, some are just gazing around.
Another partridge
All the chicks in their brooder. There are 4 rhode island reds in the pic. Today they went home with a nice lady to her farm.
Dazzling black silkie. Hubby likes the black ones most of all. They really do look stunning.
Rummy the Airedale (1yo) has lots more chicks to look after now. He simply adores his chicks.
