O M G... THEY ARE SO DANG CUTE! VERY BEAUTIFUL AND LOVE LOVE THE COLORS. I am definitely leaning towards Cackle hatchery for sure! Did you get them vaccinated for Mareks by chance?Glad to! I have been ordering from Cackle Hatchery for four or five years now and I don't have any complaints. I also got my silkies as a hobby backyard flock and for the kids to play with.
Here are some pictures of the chicks from one of my more recent orders. And some of them as pullets/cocks as well. The blue/black rooster was mature and by far the best roo we've ever had (temperament, friendliness, gentleness, etc.). And the funny little red one in the last picture is a cockerel. He's turned out to be quite the character, LOL. The others were pullets who are now full-grown hens who are good layers, good broodies (be forewarned, some silkie hens never give up being broody!), and like treats
I've had several successful hatches of my own in my silkie flock and in general, the chicks have been very healthy (we've experienced some failed hatches of course and had two experiences with roosters with crooked beaks).
One of the things we like about Cackle Hatchery is their great customer service. Their chicks have always arrived well packed, warm enough, with food, with extra chicks, and if you call right after you pick your chicks up and let them know about any problems or just that the chicks arrived safely, they will be happy to help if a problem develops later.

Thank you so so much for your help and information!I did not get them vaccinated, but I believe Cackle does offer that. Of all the birds I have ordered from Cackle none of them have ever had Mareks.
