silkies hard wing feathering, anyone clips /trims this.

I have some 5 month old splash and they have this but the rooster and hem (parents )
don't have this! Did the owner trim them? Or why do they have this?

Hope this helps the feathers onthe tips of the wings.. Oh! Another question boy or girl? And this one boy or girl both around 5 months Also I think ill post this on another thread.

Our 4 silkies have some more "regular" feathers on their wing tips too, but I was assuming that's because they're hatchery chicks and it's probably a bit of defect?
