Silkies hatched last night (pics)

What are "boots" for curled toes? What other colors did you hatch? Were they under a hen or in an incubator? I'm in Jacksonville FL where are you? These are just about the sweetest looking babies I've ever seen. I have 7 silkies about 7 months old in white, blue, splash and buff.

I got 3 silkie eggs as extras on a shipped order from monkeying around farms and 2 of the 3 hatched in my new Dickey incubator. I am in Bonifay.

I am so glad to see the silkie babies. My silkies are just starting to lay again, BUT my new rooster is a Pure White Showgirl. I just hatched out two Black and one White Showgirl. It looks like those are from my previous silkie rooster which was a pure white as well. The white chick is probably a pure with and the black is from the black hen and white rooster. So you will get a mix of colors from his/her babies.
