I want to get a silkie but I live in a very wet climate and it rains a lot in the winter too. Would this breed be a bad choice? I am also considering Cochin or faverolle instead. Thanks!

My Silkies do fine in the rain, snow and cold. Its seems to be the heat that gets to them.

When its raining or snowing, my Silkies are usually the ones out toodling around while the other birds hide out. I don't treat them any different then my other breeds. And they do make great pets :) Cochins are wonderful as well. I've never had Favs.
