Silkies in an Eglu

The one issue I see with the eglu is that latter ramp. I don’t think the Silkies will or can use it, they are known to be hesitant about using regular ramps. I had a similar setup (modified 4x4 raised dog house in a 12x12 run) a couple years ago when I first got my Silkies (10 under 3 months old) and was building the big coop, they did well but I had to go out every night and put them in the dog house.
Can you try to start integrating them now, I’ve learned the younger you integrate the better it goes. Or I use the panic room type integration method aart posted above but my chicks go out after 1st week. Since the Silkies will be smaller than other breeds you could give them this setup that only they can get into if being bullied.

The youngest will be the Legbars and Bielefelders. Just over 6 weeks at that point. The oldest will be 12 week old Bantam Silkie pullets. Everyone else is in between. They shouldn't need heat as it will be late April when I put them out and we are in far Southern NJ.

Again. Thanks so much for the advice.
I'd put them out as soon as you can, give at least a week to juggle things, if needed, before you go.
