Silkies in Missouri

I would like to purchase Silkie or Sizzle eggs or chicks in Missouri. I am in Central Missouri and would travel to pick them up. Had bad luck buying eggs that went through the mail. My son is looking for show quality silkies for a 4-H project in most any color other than white. Prefers the splash or any of the colors that look "dirty" (my son's words). Would like half a dozen. Thank you.

Talk to David from Show Me Silkies. He should be within about 30-45 minutes from your area. He has a website. I hatched eggs from him last Christmas and got a 100% hatch of the fertile ones. Here's a pic of them as chicks:

They are normally pretty pricey, I lucked out on price because they were from a mixed free range flock at that time of year, but most were purebred silkies.

I bought some silkies from Frank at 417-298-5005 a couple years ago they were nice. He is east of Nevada.
