Silkies Need help sexing

The black one is a pullet, and the Blue one is a Cockerel.

What makes you guys think the black one is a male, other than streamers? It has no male feathering, and streamers aren't anything to rely on. I have had females that laid eggs that had them.

Streamers, size of comb, color, and sheen of feathers. Not to mention that upright stance in the first pic. I have several different qualities of silkies in my flock. Some hens are hatchery quality with a swoop crest but no streamers.

I definitely got my confirmation on Sunday. I did some reading about why roosters will crow. I then proceeded to play a YouTube clip of roosters crowing. Sure enough they both chimed in cock-a-doodle-doo! My coop is a 10’x25’, it’s split into two rooms and there’s a door. They’re currently being quarantined from my 8 week old pullets (first flock). Do I need to worry about them fighting if they have no hens?
