Those last photos only confirm them both being male. Beautiful boys.![]()
Both are boys, they have streamers.
What makes you guys think the black one is a male, other than streamers? It has no male feathering, and streamers aren't anything to rely on. I have had females that laid eggs that had them.2x Cockerels
Streamers, size of comb, color, and sheen of feathers. Not to mention that upright stance in the first pic. I have several different qualities of silkies in my flock. Some hens are hatchery quality with a swoop crest but no streamers.What makes you guys think the black one is a male, other than streamers?
