Here is my little silkie of a different color. Right now in this pic it's being naughty. It's more of an oddball. It's feathers are soft as cotton, almost like touching air. Sooo soft but not shredded like a silkies. It has no crest and it's skin is blue. Other than having perfect toe separation and very heavily feathered legs and feet, it's all wrong for a silkie. But it's coloirng is so pretty. I need to get a close up of it's breast feathers. I'd like to day calico but the colors are here and there. Spotted with different colors almost. I don't plan to keep this one forever but I just have to keep it till it's grown just so see how it turns out.

This is it's feet and legs when it was just about 3 weeks old.

And it's wings at that same age

The only recent pic I have is the first one. It's nearly 2 months old now. I wish my silkies would feather out this fast. In the first pic it is in with other chicks it's same age.
I think someone was hiding in the bushes when a hen was free ranging. This is suppose to be a partridge silkie. My other idea is the egg got mismarked and it's a sizzle but the colors don't make any sense then.

I have one that hatched like that out of your eggs. I believe they were supposed to be sizzle. Mine now has a white ring around its neck.

Not the greatest pic cause it was taken with my phone. It was a lot lighter before it fully feathered in.
