. Many apologies if this loaded several times.here is the photo of baby's back.

It's definitely splash. :)

I have a black roo and buff hens. I think one may be a partridge. What colors do y'all think they will produce

I have a white silkie hen, and 3 silkie roosters. One of the roosters is porcelain, and the other two are mixed colors. The look like porcelains crossed with splashes to me, but I'm not sure. What colors could I get from those silkies? (I know that 3 boys with one girl is not enough. I'm not stupid. I'm going to try to get more hens soon. I got the three boys at around 4 months old, so I was hoping for at least one girl from them, and I recently got the hen.) I also have a buff silkie rooster(?) and a blue silkie hen, but they are only about 5 months old. The blue pullet is really small and I think is going blind in both eyes. I don't know what is wrong with her yet. But the main thing is I'm just wondering what colors I could get from the white hen, porcelain roo, and the two mixed colored(looks like porcelain x splash) roos. Thanks.

I'm brand new to silkies. I've been looking for some partridges for a while but not having any luck in my area, so while in Pensacola for a few days to avoid the hurricane I checked out the local adds and drove home yesterday with 5 silkie chicks. 4 are 2-3 weeks, and one is a fresh little bobble on day 3 today.
I'll be posting some pick as I ended up with 2 possible splash, one lt brn/grayish partridge, and one that looks gray/silver partridge. The tiniest one is brown chipmunk, so I'm hoping it will remain brown. Regardlesd, this little stinker has won my heart, and is currently very close to it as it likes to snuggle down in my clevage. Lol

This is my old rooster that I'm getting back what are your thoughts on him as far as quality goes and color. I plan on putting him with one of my buff hens.

I think I worked it out on my own... hard work looking at pics of chicks on BYC, right. LOL
I was sold 5 chicks as 2 splash/3 partridge. The 3 partridges were obvious, the one splash was obvious(white chick with random black feathers coming in), but the other 'splash' chick looked different. Yellowish color with a grayish base, and small amount of gray chipmunking. I was examining it closely yesterday and realizes that it has partridge coming in on it's feathers as they are growing in. Hooray! The blue partridge I wanted, but couldn't 'find'. =D
