I'm using them to brood/raise my Belgian D'Anvers, so that my breeding pair keep producing fertile eggs.

They are eggcellent mom's & so entertaining to watch them with their surrogate chicks.

Miss Ohio has 2 chicks on the go that are just over a week old.

Snowball is busy with her 1 month old.

My adult chooks are all hand raised & VERY tame. The chicks seem to sense that I am NOT a threat, & let me handle them & pose for the camera.

I just wish my silkies would go broody the first day I brought my silkies one layed an egg and went broody but I got so exicted an I moved her inside the coop that I accidently broke her broodiness
